If it is difficult to peel off and there is a chirping sound during the peeling, it is an ordinary plastic film without silicon coating. This method can also be used to distinguish between single - silicon release film with silicon coating on one side and double - silicon release film with silicon coating on both sides. It can even compare which side has more silicon coating and the size of the peel strength. 2. Detection by Marker Pen Use a marker pen for detection. Draw a line on the film surface. On the release film, no ink mark can be drawn, while on an ordinary film, there will be ink marks of different shades. In addition, the appearance of glossy ordinary paper and laminated paper can sometimes be very similar. However, if you tear them by hand, at the torn edge of ordinary paper, there are only fiber hairs. For laminated paper, besides wood fibers, there will also be some small film pieces. If tested with tape, there will be a sound when peeling the tape from the laminated paper, but nothing will stick to the tape. While for glossy ordinary paper, the coating on the paper surface and wood fibers will stick to the tape.
